The Kentucky Council of the Blind invites everyone to be a winner at our 2025 Jackpot Auction, happening Saturday, November 1, from 7:00 to 10:30 PM Eastern Time (4:00 to 7:30 PM Pacific Time) on Zoom and ACB Media 9. We have an incredible line-up of fantastic items, including
* an exquisite Wizard of Oz Faberg`e-style egg music box from the Bradford Exchange;
* an acoustic classical guitar with nylon strings and a quality case;
* a laptop computer, an Echo Show, Echo Spot, and Echo Dot and more techie goodies;
* an autographed copy of "It Takes a Village" by Hillary Clinton, a coffee table book by Bill Clinton, a year of braille Conundrum magazines, and print/braille books for the kids;
* a soft blue hand-knitted afghan and University of Louisville and University of Kentucky tie blankets;
* a light-up stained-glass snowman, a holiday train, and more holiday decor; and
bags and purses, jewelry, crafts and collectibles. There are items for kids, items for dogs, items for the kitchen, and items for yourself. Of course, delicious edibles such as a peanut butter fudge, no-bake cookies, homemade red hots, persimmon pudding, brownies, oatmeal Scotchies, and special packages of snacks and treats to appeal to every taste.

You must register in order to bid in this auction. You can listen on ACB Media 9, but you must bid on Zoom from your phone or computer. Registration is free. Just call the Kentucky Council of the Blind office at 502-895-4598 and give us your contact information. On Friday, October 31, the zoom link and dial-in information will be posted.
This auction benefits the Kentucky Council of the Blind, the Bluegrass Council of the Blind, and KCB chapters including the Greater Louisville Council of the Blind, Guide Dog Users of Kentuckiana, KCB Next Generation, Kentucky Council of Citizens with Low Vision, South Central Kentucky Council of the Blind, Support Alliance of the Visually Impaired, and Tri-state Library Users.
