Antisemitism is rising at alarming rates in NYC and across the country. For Russian-speaking Jewish community, this is not abstract. It is personal. Every family deserves to walk into a synagogue, school, or community center without fear, intimidation, or harassment.
Jewish New Yorkers make up roughly 10% of the population — yet accounted for 57% of reported hate crimes last year.

Safety and freedom must go hand in hand. Our community stands united, strong, and unapologetically proud.
No New Yorker should experience fear or intimidation when entering a house of worship or school.
New York City Council, it’s time to pass Speaker Julie Menin's Int. 0001 and Council Member Eric Dinowitz’s Int. 0175 so that all New Yorkers can pray, learn, and gather without fear or harassment.
