You see that work you rushed out as early as 4am to beat traffic.🤔

Yes! That one that you feel won't start without you.

You have become so comfortable that you feel you co-own the company, so your employment is guaranteed.

My dear!

You will be kicked out anytime or asked to resign when the owner decides to change his/her work force..

If it's not yours ,it can never be guaranteed.

Plan your exit.

Acquire and develop more skills as you work.

Have a side hustle.

Don't be too comfortable in paid employment, it's not your fathers inheritance.

Most importantly, prioritize your health and peace.

If you are weak, you will be asked to leave.

So rest when you can and take care of your health.

Behind every beautiful outfit you see from Pepever Stitches is a woman with a passion, a dream, and a deep love for creating beauty with her hands. ❤️

My name is Obi Ogochukwu Perpetual , the creative mind behind Pepever Stitches.

For me, fashion is more than cutting fabrics and putting stitches together. It is about taking an idea, bringing it to life, and creating something that makes a woman look in the mirror and say, “Wow… this is beautiful, and this is ME!”

That is the heart of Pepever Stitches.

I create beautiful and elegant outfits for women and their female children, from ready-to-wear pieces and corporate outfits to gorgeous gowns, kiddies' ball dresses, traditional outfits and other carefully crafted designs.

Every piece that leaves my hands goes through a process.

From selecting the right fabric and creating the design, to taking measurements, cutting, sewing, fitting, making necessary adjustments and giving it that final finishing touch,

I pay attention to the little details because I believe the little details are what make an outfit exceptional.

There is something incredibly fulfilling about watching a piece of fabric transform into a beautiful outfit. But what makes me love this journey even more is seeing my clients wear what I created for them with confidence.

I don't just make clothes. I create confidence. I create memories. I create pieces that allow women to express who they are.

Pepever Stitches is a brand built on creativity, elegance, quality, precision and passion. It is my little corner where creativity meets craftsmanship, and where every stitch carries a piece of my heart.

One afternoon, while delivering food to a neighbor, Amara heard the sound of a sewing machine.

She paused.

Inside the shop, beautiful dresses hung neatly on the walls.

The owner, Mama Ifeoma, noticed her curiosity.

"You like fashion?" she asked with a smile.
Amara nodded.

For the first time in years, she spoke about the dream she had buried since childhood.

Whenever she could steal a few minutes after finishing her chores, she returned to the shop.

Mama Ifeoma quietly began teaching her the basics of tailoring.

Needle by needle.

Amara had finally taken the first step toward changing her future.

‎EPISODE 2: A MARRIAGE SHE NEVER CHOSE!

‎ When Amara turned eighteen, she hoped life would finally change.

‎ Instead, Uncle Nnamdi called her into the sitting room one evening and calmly announced, "You are getting married next week."

‎She was shocked.
‎She begged.
‎She cried.

‎She pleaded that she wanted to continue her education or at least learn a skill.
‎But no one listened.

The man she was forced to marry was Chike Eze, a widower from a nearby village.

‎ From the very first week, Amara realized marriage had not rescued her.

‎ It had only exchanged one prison for another.

‎ Her husband shouted at her over the smallest mistakes, while his mother and sisters treated her like a servant.

‎When she became pregnant with her first child, she expected a little kindness.
‎ Instead, they made her wake before everyone else.

‎She fetched water.
‎She washed everyone's clothes.
‎She cooked.
‎She cleaned.

‎ She worked until her swollen feet could barely carry her.

‎ Even when she complained of pain, they called her lazy.

‎ She endured everything in silence because she had nowhere else to go.

‎ But deep inside her, a tiny flame of hope refused to die.

‎The rain fell heavily the day little Amara Onyeze lost both of her parents in a fatal road accident along the Onitsha–Owerri Expressway.

She was only 10 years old.

‎ One moment, she had a loving home filled with laughter.

The Next , she became an orphan with no idea what the future held.

‎Everyone who attended the funeral pitied the little girl. They hugged her, cried with her, and promised she would never be alone. But as the weeks turned into months, those promises slowly disappeared.

‎Amara was taken to live with her uncle, Uncle Nnamdi, in Aba, Abia State.

‎At first, she believed she had found another family. Instead, she became their housemaid.

‎Every morning before sunrise, she swept the compound, fetched water, washed clothes, cooked meals, and cared for her cousins before they went to school.
‎While her cousins carried school bags, Amara carried buckets.

‎While they played outside, she scrubbed pots until her fingers hurt.

‎Many nights, she cried herself to sleep, wondering if life would ever smile at her again.

‎But what she didn't know was that her greatest battle was still ahead😢
