☣️ Fashion is one of the most polluting industries. Clothing is manufactured with highly toxic dyes that produce 20% of global industrial wastewater, laced with heavy metals that are flushed into clean water where they sicken people and animals, harm ecosystems, and cause biodiversity loss.

Help preserve our water. Buy clothing made of sustainable materials.

🕯️1,134 souls lost, 2,500 injured. The deadliest garment-factory disaster—occuring on April 24, 2013, in Savar, Bangladesh—still haunts fashion’s supply chain.

Rana Plaza housed 5 garment factories in an illegally built 8‑storey complex, with visible cracks reported the day before—but workers were forced to continue anyways. This mass‑industrial “homicide” sparked a legally binding safety Accord—and yet, many survivors remain in trauma and poverty.

Never forget. Honor them—shop responsibly, and demand safe, transparent fashion.Sources: https://www.voguebusiness.com/sustainability/10-years-since-rana-plaza-not-enough-has-changed

❓What is fast fashion?

It’s the rapid production of cheap, trendy clothes—made to be worn a few times, then tossed. The industry has doubled clothing production since 2000, while buyers only wear the average garment “as few as ten times before disposal.”

🚨It’s not just fashion. It’s waste, pollution, and exploitation—on repeat.

Ready to break the cycle? 👇

Plastic burning being proposed in Columbia. Please help us with stopping this by signing the petition and/or testifying.

W.R. Grace has submitted a permit to the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) to put a chemical recycling and plastic burning research facility right next to our neighborhoods.
