Seadragons Dive Club Seadragons is a Tassie scuba diving group formed to encourage diving in a way that is a safe and friendly exploration of our planet's many marine ecosystems.

We not only observe its beauty and its wonder but also share this underwater world with you. Seadragons is a small group of people who like safe and friendly diving. The committee meets monthly to plan a range of dives around Tasmania and occasionally to the Big Island. We offer quite a few easy and moderate skill level shore dives through to Boat Dive. Dives include midweek after work dives, Nigh

t Dives, single day trip dives or a weekend trip away. Most dives include a post dive catch up where we visit a local hospitality establishment for a feed and drink. Throughout the year we will attend "Dive" related social events. Upcoming and previous dives, and social events can be viewed under the Event tab. We welcome new divers and land lovers to join our group. Diving membership is $30.00 per annum. Divers are welcome to join as for an introduction dive* before joining. *except Boat Dives associated costs. By joining one of our dive, expect to become a Social Media Star! as many members will post the dives on theirs and the Seadragons Socials.

Have you dived, or swum, in Waubs Bay, Bicheno? Would you like to help preserve its marine life for future generations? The Friends of Waubs Bay group will petition Tasmania’s House of Assembly, asking to zone it as a fish sanctuary or propagation area.

There are 2 forms of the petition. Please sign only one. The E-Petition, closing on 11/6/2026, is here: https://haepetitions.parliament.tas.gov.au/haepet/Home/PetitionDetails/141?title=Petition%20Details and Qcode below. Feel free to share.

Alternatively, you may like to print a paper version and circulate it within your workplace / family / friends. There’s a pic in this post, or for email, contact Rosa [email protected] There are instructions at the bottom, re returning it – send originals (not scans).

Concerned about privacy? On a paper petition, you must give your name, address, and signature. Those details are not publicly published; they exist only on the petition, which becomes a parliamentary record. No minimum age nor citizenship is required.
E-Petitions have different rules: https://haepetitions.parliament.tas.gov.au/haepet/Home/Guidelines
