Donations are tax deductible After 24 years in the Army, and being a great pet lover, Chris Prince decided he wanted to help local veterans like himself.

We help veterans and their pets in Carter County TN by
- running a monthly, home delivery pet pantry
- helping them find resources and grants as needed

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. He knew how much owning a pet benefits people. So he and his wife decided to set up this non-profit to help veterans adopt and/or keep a dog or cat. In this way we will help loc

al veterans receive:

* Recognition and thanks for their service
* Improved health – it is known that pets reduce anxiety and depression and provide a source of comfort. They also can help increase exercise and physical activity, and decrease blood pressure.
* The unconditional love and acceptance that a pet gives
* A renewed sense of purpose
* A community that shares experiences based on their pets which may help veterans make more human friends and increase their social interaction. Veterans' Buddies is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
