From Young Bafana to the international stage! 🇿🇦⚽

What a proud moment for the Young Bafana family!

Former Young Bafana player Keanu is currently in Germany representing South Africa with the U16 national team!

Keanu becomes the fourth player from Young Bafana to earn national team honours, another incredible milestone in our journey of developing young talent and creating opportunities through soccer.

Stories like Keanu’s remind us why we do what we do. With the right support, guidance and opportunities, young dreams can become extraordinary achievements.

Congratulations, Keanu! We are incredibly proud of you and cannot wait to see where your journey takes you next! 💙

🏆 DOUBLE CHAMPIONS! WHAT A SEASON! 💙⚽

League Champions. League Cup Winners. Promotion secured!

Our Young Bafana First Team has done it! Crowned Premier Division 2 League Champions, securing promotion to Premier Division 1, AND lifting the League Cup! 🏆🏆

What makes this achievement even more special? Our oldest player is just 24 years old, with our youngest only 17!

A young squad with enormous heart, determination and belief. Proof that age is no barrier when talent, hard work and teamwork come together.

A massive congratulations to our players, coaches and everyone behind the scenes who made this incredible season possible.

Two trophies. One unforgettable season. And the best is yet to come! 💙

DIGITAL SKILLS START YOUNG 💻⚽

Our U10s had a peek into our digital learning programme and judging by those smiles, it was a success😎

Behind the fun is an important purpose.

Digital education helps our young players learn, explore, problem solve and build confidence with technology, skills that will matter far beyond the soccer field.

Our programme aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:

📚 SDG 4: Quality Education
Building digital skills and creating meaningful learning opportunities.

🤝 SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities
Helping young people access the tools and opportunities they need to thrive.

Soccer. Nutrition. Education.
It’s all part of changing lives. 💙

MEET THE MAN BEHIND THE VUVUZELA 📣💙

If you’ve been to a Young Bafana game, chances are you’ve heard him before you’ve seen him. 😎

Meet Gerrit, aka Mr G, our unofficial YB mascot and the man behind that famous vuvuzela!

Rain or shine, win or lose, Mr G brings the noise, the energy and the YB spirit from the sidelines.

But this one isn’t only for Mr G. It’s for every parent, family member, friend and supporter who shows up, cheers us on and stands behind our players week after week.

Football is played on the pitch, but a club is built by the people around it. 💙

Thank you for being part of ours.

And Mr G… please never lose that vuvuzela. 😂📣

Gerrit Struis 🎺
