Muslims Against Hunger Hunger, Homelessness and Poverty Alleviation The Muslims Against Hunger Project serves meals to the Homeless, Hungry and Working Poor.

It gives Muslims an opportunity to participate in the "Act of Righteousness" and show the greater community the true and compassionate face of Muslims.

It is with great sadness that we inform the community that Zamir Hassan has passed away.

Zamir was a beloved community leader, tireless advocate for those in need, and compassionate soul whose legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched through his many years of charity work with Muslims Against Hunger and Hunger Van. Known for his unwavering dedication to community service and charitable causes, Zamir led with integrity, and a deep commitment to making the world a better place. His vision of unity and generosity of spirit brought healing and opportunity to those in need, leaving behind a stronger, more united community—one that will never forget his remarkable impact.

He leaves behind his dear wife Ghazala and was the beloved father of Zulfiqar, Aysha, and Ali as well as the proud grandfather of Ashar and Ayla.

Salat-Ul-Janaza will be held, Friday, June 6th after Juma'a prayer (1:45 PM) at ISCJ (Islamic Society of Central Jersey - 4145 Route 1 South, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852)
