Instituted over 150 years ago by William Forbes Stearns, the law school’s first professor, the Moot Court Board is the premier appellate advocacy group at The University of Mississippi School of Law. Where the Mississippi Law Journal concentrates on academic publication, the Moot Court Board focuses on winning external advocacy competitions.

We are more than proud to announce and congratulate this awesome team on a MASSIVE achievement for WINNING the Federal Bar Association’s Thurgood Marshall Memorial Moot Court Competition. These two wonderful members, Cambell Webb and Erica Mock, along with the help of their phenomenal coach, Professor Glover, absolutely killed it at their competition! Cambell also received the award for Best Final Round Oralist. Just wow! We are beyond proud of this team! Such a well-deserved win & recognition and is a result of all the hard work they put into this. Congrats!!!!

Screaming congratulations from the rooftops to these AMAZING members!!! Sophia, Parker, and Haley secured FIRST PLACE at the Frank A. Schrek Gaming Law Moot Court Competition in Vegas today! This is a result of extremely hard work from this team, and this win is incredibly well-deserved. We are so unbelievably proud of them!!! Also, massive thank you to Professor Rychlak for the time and effort that he put into coaching them!
