We are five friends from Georgia Tech that form the team One Small Steppe, and in the Summer of 2017, we will be doing the Mongol Charity Rally to raise money as well as deliver a service vehicle for the Mongolian people. Mongol Charity Rally is a grueling 15,000 kilometer charity car race that starts in London and finishes in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (a route which consists of some of the most rugge
d drivable terrain on earth!) At the end of our journey, the vehicle we use will be donated to a family or city in Mongolia. Aside from seeking the adventure of a lifetime and donating a car to someone in need, we are also raising money for Go Help, which supports healthcare and education. Go Help, a UK registered charity, started with the goal of launching and operating ambulances in third world countries, but since then has expanded providing other emergency vehicles (such as the one we will be driving), scholarship programs, and building children’s activity centers. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $1,300 for our charity and the additional donations will go towards purchasing the vehicle that will be donated. All donors will be publicly recognized as “Honorary Members” on our official team website (in progress) and page. In addition, sponsors (whether corporate or individual) with higher donation levels will have the opportunity to obtain certain benefits including, but not limited to, special recognition on our website and page, advertising space on our actual car, product sampling along the journey, exposure in pictures and videos taken during the race, and much more! Please remember any support at all that we receive will be greatly appreciated! Every adventure starts with one small step(pe), and your donation could help us go a little farther. If you have any questions or would like to know more information, please do not hesitate to contact us! Please feel free to forward this on to anyone who you think may be interested. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope to hear from you!
