Southland Otago Jersey Breeders held their AGM meeting at the Wallace town tavern on the 5th July, a great catch up, great to see so many young members and bringing through their ideas at the meeting.

On Saturday the 28th of March, World Wide Sires New Zealand will be hosting a dinner and speaker session at the Workingman’s Club in Invercargill with visitors and speakers flying in from around the world.

Guests are welcome to arrive from 5:00 pm, with seating beginning at 7:00 pm. It promises to be an excellent evening so come along, enjoy a free meal, and hear from some of the most experienced professionals in the global dairy genetics industry.

Southland A and P Show the 7th of March 2026, held the final of the Handlers classes for the show season. Congratulations to some of our young club members who have done extremely well. We all know how much Linda loves her cows. She loves milking them, showing them, and caring for them; and if her body allowed it, she would happily continue doing so for forever. Unfortunately, the time has come for a new chapter, and it is now an opportunity for others to take on Linda’s cows and love them as much as she has.
