The Consortium for Advanced Practice Providers has officially released the 2026 Annual Conference agenda, including pre-conference workshops and main conference sessions, and it’s packed with timely, practical content for APP postgraduate training leaders.

This year’s theme, “Building What’s Next: Leadership, Workforce, and Innovation in APP Postgraduate Training,” comes to life through sessions designed to help you strengthen, grow, and lead your programs with confidence.

What to expect:
Pre-Conference Workshops (July 12): Hands-on sessions focused on launching and strengthening programs + leadership and executive coaching
Main Conference (July 13–14): Keynotes on workforce and policy, accreditation insights from site visitors, and sessions on evaluation, financing, and program impact
Interactive & Forward-Thinking Content: Roundtables, poster presentations, and an AI in Action series highlighting how programs are integrating AI into training and clinical practice

Whether you’re building a new program or advancing an established one, this year’s agenda is designed to meet you where you are—and help you move forward.

The Consortium for Advanced Practice Providers is pleased to announce the re-accreditation of the Seattle Children's Hospital’s Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship and Holyoke Health Center’s Family Nurse Practitioner Residency, who both received re-accreditation on April 9, 2026! Both, Seattle Children’s Hospital’s Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship and Holyoke Health Center’s Family Nurse Practitioner Residency received re-accreditation for five years.

The Consortium for Advanced Practice Providers is pleased to announce the initial accreditation of the Cabin Creek Health System’s Advanced Practice Provider Primary Care Fellowship, received on April 9, 2026! The Cabin Creek Health System’s Advanced Practice Provider Primary Care Fellowship received initial accreditation for three years.

Strong leadership is essential to the success and sustainability of postgraduate APP training programs.

Join the Consortium for Advanced Practice Providers and Hugo Loyola for an upcoming leadership webinar: “From Clinical Expert to Confident Leader: Essential Communication & Leadership Skills for Advanced Practice Providers.”

This interactive session will focus on practical leadership strategies for APPs transitioning into supervisory and administrative roles.

• Leading effective, outcome-focused meetings

Call for Posters – Share Your Innovations in APP Postgraduate Training

The Consortium for Advanced Practice Providers invites submissions for poster presentations at the 2026 Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado.

Poster presentations provide an opportunity for programs, educators, and trainees to share innovations, lessons learned, and best practices that strengthen postgraduate training for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants/Associates.

We welcome submissions related to:
• Curriculum design and program development
• Competency-based education and evaluation
• Faculty and preceptor development
• Recruitment, retention, and trainee outcomes
• Program sustainability and growth
• Innovations in specialty and primary care training

Poster sessions are a valuable way to highlight the important work happening across postgraduate programs and to contribute to the growing community of practice in APP education.
