We need your voice—please read

We’re excited to be planning An Evening with a Neuropsychologist featuring Dr. David Stein, a highly respected developmental neuropsychologist who works closely with families and schools around learning, attention, and emotional development.

This is designed as a town-hall style conversation, guided by your questions—about evaluations, IEPs/504s, attention challenges, memory, accommodations, and what testing can (and can’t) tell us.

Here’s the honest part:
These events only work when parents show up. We know how busy and exhausted special-needs families are—but your presence truly makes a difference, both for you and for our community.

What we need from you right now:
• Let us know if you plan to attend in person
• Submit a question in advance (even if you’re unsure you can come!)
• Tell us if a virtual option would make it possible for you—we’re actively considering it based on interest

This is a rare chance to hear directly from an expert and get answers that apply to real kids and real school situations.

Even small donations can make a big difference in the day-to-day experience of students and staff.

Project SHARK wants to highlight the wonderful work they are doing at Hopkins School. Please help them create their coffee cart! Some items are literally less than five bucks! I mean C'MON!

Support our grades 4 and 5 special education students create a fun way to get hands-on training in work, money and most importantly, social skills!

I know we can come together as a community to get them started with items needed. Our teachers shouldn't have to go into their own pockets to make things like this happen. Every contribution makes a huge difference.
