Happy Summer, ‘Cats! Thanks for a great first week of summer grocery!
Lula Bell’s will run our summer grocery service from June 2 - July 30. Note that our services are different in the summer compared to the school year! Here’s what you need to know:
- Students needing food support this summer and visit Lula Bell’s on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Unlike during the school year, you can shop both nights if you need to.
- Grocery and hygiene products will be available for purchase at deeply discounted rates: See our price list in our bio. As a reminder, items are available at no cost during fall & spring semesters.
- A debit or credit card is required for purchase. We are unable to charge student accounts, accept cash payments, or Venmo/CashApp etc. at this time.
- We will be continue to run our cookware checkout program through the summer, but borrow times may be adjusted to accommodate higher usage in the summer.
- Other services (such as business clothing) are available on a more limited basis than during the school year, but you can contact us if you need to utilize services outside groceries and cookware.
If you have questions or concerns about your food access, please contact [email protected] and a staff member will get back to you as soon as possible! We have limited staff during the summer, so we do not maintain open hours outside of the 4-6:00 p.m. time frame on grocery nights. For this reason, please email with questions or to set up an appointment outside the grocery night time.
Additionally, we will be closed to observe scheduled holidays. Thursday, July 30th will be the last day of summer grocery operations.
