27/01/2026

On January 26, 2026, the Heath Department of Public Safety responded to a residential fire in the Stoneleigh neighborhood. Upon arrival, crews encountered heavy fire venting from the roof.

An initial offensive interior attack was attempted but was later transitioned to a defensive strategy due to roof collapse and heavy fire conditions.

All occupants were safely evacuated from the residence, and no injuries were reported. Crews remain on scene at this time.

We would like to thank the Rockwall Fire Department, McLendon-Chisholm Fire Department, and Rockwall-Heath CERT for their assistance.
