December 13, 2025 will be unforgettable for the population of Pelengana, the village authorities, the government representative, the youth representatives, the representatives of women's governments, the medical staff and a large crowd came out massively to demonstrate their joy at the installation of solar energy at the community health center which will help save lives.
At the request of village authorities, the mayor of the commune of Pelengana awarded 2 certificates of recognition to ADER-COV and its partner FEG AG for this social impact project. This very honorary certificate in the community is a strong signal of the need for electricity for local populations.
After 33 years of creation, without stable electricity, the Pelengana Community Health Center has just been equipped with a solar system providing reliable electricity for lighting, refrigeration and essential medical equipment 24/7.
This project with strong social and tangible impact goes beyond health care.
Through access to solar energy, this project reduces pressure on 1,000 hectares of native trees that are frequently deforested for traditional care.
Our creative thinking allowed us to evaluate and realign our strategies for promoting equity and inclusion to create a space that reflects a sustainable future. The speakers at the ceremony all asked to hear the installations so that thousands of households can benefit from stable electricity in their families. Many thanks to our partner FEG AG/GT.
