Last Thursday, the investment community gathered at 📍 The Landmark Nicosia for the 𝗖𝗙𝗔 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝘆𝗽𝗿𝘂𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 — an evening dedicated to understanding the forces shaping the future of markets and investing.

🎙️ Guiding us through the evening were 𝗞𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝗼𝘀, 𝗖𝗙𝗔 and 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘇𝗶𝗱𝗼𝘂 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝘁𝘀𝗮, 𝗖𝗙𝗔, who expertly hosted the programme and helped create an engaging atmosphere throughout the event.

🎤 The conversation began with a welcome address by 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘀 𝗞𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘆𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀, who highlighted the importance of fundamentals, discipline, and long-term thinking in an increasingly volatile world.

🏛️ We then heard from 𝗗𝗿. 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀, Chairman of CySEC, who shared his perspective on the future of European capital markets and the opportunities presented by greater market integration across the region.

🌍 The discussion broadened to the global investment landscape, with 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗼𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 of HSBC exploring how investors can build resilience amid economic uncertainty, geopolitical shifts, and changing market dynamics.

📈 As investors continue to seek diversification and new sources of return, 𝗚𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗵𝘁 of Goldman Sachs Asset Management examined the evolving role of private assets and how they fit into portfolios in today's macroeconomic environment.

💡 The evening concluded on an optimistic note, as 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗮 of Julius Baer encouraged attendees to look beyond short-term noise and focus on the opportunities that emerge during periods of change.

📊 The programme also featured an interactive forecasting poll led by 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗦𝗽𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 and 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗮𝘀, giving attendees the opportunity to share their own views on the year ahead and compare perspectives with fellow professionals.
