Bringing together UNESCO-accredited organizations from within and beyond the university and across Tuguegarao City, TUGUEther Again! became a meaningful gathering of young leaders united by a shared commitment to service, advocacy, and community development.

As we celebrate 30 years of PVCD, we look back to the person who helped begin a journey of service that continues to this day—𝙎𝙧. 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙖 𝘾𝙤𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙧, 𝙎𝙋𝘾, founder of the Paulinian Volunteers for Community Development.

Established in 1996, PVCD was born from a vision of responding to community needs through volunteerism, service, and servant leadership. Through the years, generations of Paulinian Volunteers have continued that mission, reaching communities and creating meaningful change.

As PVCD enters another year of service, we welcome a new generation of leaders entrusted with carrying forward the organization’s mission, values, and the torch of volunteerism passed down through generations of Paulinian Volunteers.

The organization continues to be guided by the Executive Director of the Community Development Center, who serves as the adviser of PVCD, providing guidance and support as the organization carries out its mission of community development and service.

To our new officers, may your leadership always be grounded in compassion, commitment, and purpose. May you continue to show up, serve communities, and inspire fellow Paulinians to make a difference.

30 𝙔𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙎 𝙊𝙁 𝙎𝙃𝙊𝙒𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙐𝙋, 𝙎𝙀𝙍𝙑𝙄𝙉𝙂, 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝘾𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙂𝙀 ⚜️🔰

The Paulinian Volunteers for Community Development – Club for UNESCO celebrates its 30th Founding Anniversary—three decades of volunteerism, compassionate service, and meaningful change in communities.

This milestone gathered generations of volunteers, leaders, mentors, partners, families, and communities who have been part of PVCD’s journey. We were honored by the presence of our former presidents, and overwhelmed by the messages and support shared by our former advisers and officers who continue to carry PVCD in their hearts.

We also honored our Performing Paulinian Volunteers, Community Extension Services Coordinators, Deans, awardees, and everyone whose time, effort, and hard work helped bring service closer to the communities we reach. The celebration also welcomed a new generation of leaders, as our new set of officers were formally inducted to carry forward the mission and spirit of service.

Above all, this celebration honored the people behind 30 years of service—the volunteers who showed up, the families who supported them, and the communities that continue to inspire us to serve.

For years, President Erwin Joley Bello has devoted his time, energy, and heart to volunteerism, organizational service, and community work. From leading student organizations to being present in community initiatives, his journey has always been rooted in one simple purpose: to serve.

The Service Vanguard Award recognizes not just the years he has spent leading, but the countless moments he chose to show up for others.
Because true leadership is not measured by a title, but by the people served, communities touched, and lives made better along the way.

This year, the Ten Outstanding Paulinian Volunteers (TOPV) recognizes ELEVEN exceptional Paulinian volunteers who stood out through their dedication, commitment, and meaningful contributions to service.

While the award is called Ten Outstanding Paulinian Volunteers, this year reminded us that excellence in service cannot always be limited by a number. Eleven volunteers stood out among their peers and demonstrated what it truly means to live a life of volunteerism—showing up, taking initiative, and serving others with purpose.

Their stories may be different, their advocacies may vary, and their ways of serving may not look the same. But they share one thing in common: they chose to make their time, talents, and efforts meaningful to others.

Today, we celebrate not only their achievements but also the countless hours, sacrifices, and acts of service behind them.

To our 11 Outstanding Paulinian Volunteers, may this recognition remind you that every act of service, no matter how big or small, creates an impact. May you continue to inspire others to step forward, lend a hand, and choose to serve.

Today, we celebrate 30 years of the Paulinian Volunteers for Community Development – Club for UNESCO. 30 years of compassionate service, servant leadership, and a commitment to communities.

From one generation of volunteers to another, the torch of service has continued to be passed on. For three decades, PVCD has been a home for students who choose to show up—not because they are asked to, not for recognition, but because they believe that service matters.

This celebration is not only about looking back at where we started. It is about honoring every volunteer, leader, partner, adviser, and community who became part of our journey. Every hour given, every hand extended, every community reached, and every small act of kindness has helped shape the PVCD we know today.

As we enter another chapter, may we continue to carry the same spirit that brought us here: to serve with compassion, lead with purpose, and make a difference wherever we are needed.

For 30 years, we have carried the torch.

24September2026 | A total of 40 beneficiaries from four barangays in Luna—Zumigui, Lappa, San Jose and Sta. Lina—each received a Jetmatic hand pump well with piping materials for the “Tubig at Dignidad para sa Bawat Pamilya” Project through the ChildFund Philippines working with St. Paul University Philippines Community Development Center Foundation, Inc. (SPUPCDCFI) headed by Executive Director Dr. Noemi T. Cabaddu.

More than just providing Jetmatic hand pumps, the initiative supports the broader objectives of the eKALUSUGAN SA BAWAT BARANGAY Program of the Apayao Provincial Health Office, promoting improved access to dependable water sources for daily household needs, hygiene, sanitation, and overall community health.

Prior to the distribution, a simple program and orientation were conducted with beneficiaries and local stakeholders, including EA Jayheart Tumbaga, MSWD Officer Ma. Concepcion Ravelo and Devie Marie Agustin from Luna RHU. The activity provided an opportunity to discuss the purpose of the initiative, its benefits to families and the community, and the shared responsibility of beneficiaries to properly care for and responsibly use the provided Jetmatic.

Together, we continue to work toward healthier families, stronger communities, and a future where every family has access to a dependable source of water.

Three days of fun, learning, friendship, and meaningful youth engagement!

The Tuguegarao City Youth Camp 2026, initiated by the Local Youth Development Office of Tuguegarao City, brought together student leaders and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials from across Tuguegarao City for a three-day camp filled with activities that strengthened leadership, teamwork, and youth participation.

The Paulinian Volunteers for Community Development – UNESCO Club was grateful to be part of this meaningful gathering, with members Erwin Joley Bello, Precious Jimenez, and Christiam Jacoba representing the organization.

More than a camp, it was an opportunity to connect, learn, lead, and grow together as young people committed to serving our communities.
