Danish Sisterhood of America: Katherine Lodge #20 At the Katherine Lodge we pride ourselves on blending new and old generations of the Danish Sisterhood while keeping our Danish heritage as a priority.

The National Danish Sisterhood of America was founded on December 15, 1883 by Christine Hemmingsen, a Danish immigrant from Orup, Denmark. Inspired by the success of the Danish Brotherhood of America, Mrs. Hemmingsen established Christine Lodge #1 in Negaunee, Michigan. The Danish Sisterhood continues to grow with numerous lodges located throughout the United States and Canada including our lodge,

Katherine Lodge #20 of Kenosha. Membership in the Danish Sisterhood of America is a wonderful opportunity to connect with your Danish heritage, learn more about Danish customs and traditions, and strengthen your connection to Denmark. A cordial invitation is extended to you to join the largest national organization of Danish women dedicated to preserving and sharing these deeply rooted traditions.Whether you are of the Danish heritage, are married to a Dane, or just have a strong interest in learning more about Denmark you are always welcome!

This is the BIG week when our J-Dag spruce tips IPA will be released! Release your inner Viking on Friday November 7 at 5:00 at Landmark 1850 Inn! The evening will be filled with song, spirits, Danish Style Hot dogs, and other surprises! Join us for the ceremonial tapping of the keg and meet our partners, III Dachshunds Brewing, Stone Arch Brewpub and Poplar Creek Tree Farm.
