Charleston Cycle Chicks is going on an indefinite hiatus. We won't host rides or events as a group.
Thank you to everyone who supported us over the years, whether that be by joining or leading our rides, telling other cyclists about us, or helping us in any other way.
We're so grateful for all the friends we've made through Charleston Cycle Chicks, some who are still here in the Lowcountry and some we still cheer on from across the country and world. The ability for us to connect with each other while doing the fun and at times challenging activity of cycling together was truly our favorite part of hosting this space for cyclists.
We don't want you to miss out on the opportunity to meet new friends while cycling. There are plenty of other local groups who host group rides every week that would be happy to have you join them. Check out one of our awesome local bike shops and ask them about a ride you can join. It can be scary to put yourself out there, but if you get out there on your bike, we're sure you'll find good people who want to connect with you on our shared passion - the love of cycling.
