Getting energized for summer with Florida Power & Light! ☀️⚡

This month, the FPL team visited the Max M. Fisher Boys & Girls Club in Riviera Beach for an exciting afternoon filled with games, connection, and fun!

With guidance from FPL team members, Club members enjoyed activities like freeze dance, parachute games, capture the flag, dodgeball, and even an obstacle course. The energy and enthusiasm throughout the day made for a truly memorable experience!

We are so grateful to FPL and their Power to Care program for providing their professionals with meaningful opportunities to connect with the community and spend quality time with our Club members.

✍️ Arts in action with 🎨

We are proud to announce that two teens were recognized for their art submissions at the 2025-2026 Boys & Girls Clubs of America National Arts Contest!

Esther C. from the Club at Lake Worth Community High School and Mag-Ngo S. from the Club at John I. Leonard High School submitted pieces that reflected their experiences and the world around them.

Esther’s poem was inspired by the divided nature of our country with an optimistic perspective about how we can come together for the common good. Mag-Ngo focused on self-reflection for his drawing, acknowledging the power we have within ourselves.

Congratulations to these two incredible young artists for bringing their visions to life and being recognized on a national level! We cannot wait to see where their creativity and perspective takes them next!

🩰 This month, the curtain fell on the 2026 Boca Ballet Theatre program!

✨ At this year-end recital, 10 talented members from the Boys & Girls Club of Boca Raton had the opportunity to showcase their new skills and techniques they learned over this months-long introduction to the world of ballet! Participants not only learned ballet, but they gained confidence, built teamwork skills, and fostered self-expression with the guidance of professional dancers.

💙 We are incredibly proud of our ongoing partnership with the Boca Ballet Theatre. Together, we are bringing a new and exciting form of art and expression to our youth!

Congratulations, Class of 2026! 🎓✨

🌟 As we wrap up graduation season, we reflect on the incredible journey each of our seniors have been on. Some of them have been with the Club since elementary school and some joined this year, but all are now part of a bigger community of impact, ready to take on the future!

🎉 This month, seniors from across gathered at the Neil S. Hirsch Boys & Girls Club to share their Club stories, be inducted into the Alumni Circle, and celebrate all they have accomplished so far with their friends and mentors. Through connection, food, and music, these outstanding teens celebrated together one last time as Club members.

🤝 The 2026 Senior Celebration was a powerful display of growth, success, and a lasting bond between Club Kids supported by our incredible College and Career Bound staff. We wish all of our graduating seniors the best as they take on their next endeavors beyond the Club! Whether they are heading off to college or the workforce, the Club will always be here to welcome them home.

Mental Health Matters at ! 🧠

💚Wellbeing and Life Skills staff, Ms. Medley, and Club Director, Ms. Irene, got their green on with Club members at Gove Elementary for ! Members created signs, art, and banners that promote the importance of addressing and moving through one's emotions. This opened conversations with peers, teachers, and friends about the invisible ups and downs we all experience.

🌱 At the Marjorie S. Fisher Club, members ventured into a Garden of Mental Wellness facilitated by Wellbeing and Life Skills staff, Ms. Solange! This activity taught resiliency and healthy coping skills for when our Club members are feeling really BIG emotions, giving them the confidence to navigate through their own mental health.

🌟 We are so proud of our Club members and staff for amplifying this essential message of mental health awareness, being the force for good in their communities.

We served up learning, growth, and FUN with Palm Beach Royals ! 🏓

This month, we concluded our series of pickleball clinics hosted by professionals from Palm Beach Royals with the support of Transworld Business Advisors Florida. Club members from across took to the court to learn techniques, rules, and skills needed to play pickleball! Some members had experience with the game while this was others' first time picking up a paddle.

In addition to rules and techniques, participating Club members sharpened their teamwork skills and felt empowered to take on a new activity! Participants also received commemorative t-shirts to represent this new sport and paddles allowing them to continue on their pickleball journey.

We are deeply grateful to Palm Beach Royals and Transworld Business Advisors Florida for diving into the exciting world of pickleball with our Club members, opening their eyes to new possibilities and fostering a shared camaraderie over their love of the game.

Congratulate our Youth of the Year Finalists and see where they're headed next. With Panda Cares support through Project Learn, Club teens are building the academic support and mentorship they need to thrive in school and beyond!

Together with Panda Cares, we're investing in our youth today so they can graduate as the leaders of tomorrow.

🌟Volunteer Spotlight: Tyler Doll🌟

A volunteer at the Marjorie S. Fisher Boys & Girls Club, Tyler's consistent support and willingness to give his time positively impacts the Club with every visit! As an intern from Florida Atlantic University, Tyler not only broadened his educational experience, but made meaningful connections that go beyond the lecture hall.

When he's not helping Ms. Solange in the Wellbeing & Life Skills room, Tyler is offering a helping hand wherever he is needed, from serving snacks and dinner to chaperoning on Club field trips.
