It’s ok to have a problem. What is not ok is when we don’t look for a solution. There are many answers out there and if we can’t find one, together we can determine our own!

It’s not just an evening of entertainment, it’s entertainment with a purpose. Tip-A-Vista Wellness Foundation is so pleased that Rev. Emma O’Rourke and Mr. Mark Gray will speak regarding their lived experiences with issues that affect so many.

There is no single solution but we can and must find ways that will work for us as individuals. It's time for talk and time for change.

The YMCA of Newfoundland and Labrador and Tip-A-Vista Wellness Foundation officially opened the Bonavista Regional YMCA with a ribbon cutting ceremony! At this ceremony, representatives from Tip-A-Vista Wellness Foundation, Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services, Town of Bonavista and YMCA of Newfoundland and Labrador celebrated this memorable event.

Located at 139 Coster Street, this new facility is a vibrant space for fitness, play, and community connection — supporting preventative health and inclusive programming for all ages.

We’re Opening in Bonavista!

The Bonavista Regional YMCA is officially opening June 27.

Get ready for an inclusive, energetic space designed for play, fitness, and community connection. Here’s what you can look forward to at our new branch:

🏀 Gymnasium
🏋️ Conditioning Centre with cardio and strength equipment
🎉 Multi-Purpose Room for child minding, birthday parties, and community outreach programs

To access the Bonavista Regional YMCA, you’ll need a membership or short-term pass. Schedules are being finalized and will be posted on our website as they become available.

Please keep May 28 in mind for a musical concert at the Garrick Theatre. Concert is sponsored by Tip-A-Vista’s Mental Health and Addictions Awareness Committee and organized and performed by local entertainers TBA. A speaker has been contacted who has various lived experiences and we hope will agree to share her story. There are many kinds of addictions that have a negative impact on the individual, family, friends and community. We have witnessed that first hand our area. Let’s reduce stigma and face whatever comes in our paths. Tickets will soon be on sale.
