📚✨ A Fresh New Look for Our Little Free Library! ✨📚

Have you noticed the Little Free Library near the front entrance of Virginia Run Elementary?

This summer, the library received a much-needed refresh! 💛💙

The library was cleaned, repainted, and updated with solar-powered lights to make it more welcoming and inviting for our students and families.

Whether you stop by during the day or in the evening, we hope it brings a smile to your face and encourages a love of reading.

📖 Take a Book • Leave a Book

We also added a small Treasure Basket filled with bookmarks, stickers, keychains, fidget toys, and other fun surprises! 🎁

Feel free to take a treasure and, if you’d like, leave a small treasure or book to share with another Viking family.

A special thank you to Karen and Sang for helping bring this project to life! 🙏✨

We hope our Viking families will stop by, discover a new favorite book, and help keep this special space filled with stories, kindness, and community.

💙Happy Reading, Vikings! 💛

Teacher Appreciation Week – Day 5 💙💛
We wrapped up the final day of Teacher Appreciation Week with breakfast and a special raffle celebration! ✨

For breakfast, we prepared Anita’s breakfast burritos along with bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, and other morning treats to show our appreciation for our teachers and staff. ☀️

This raffle event was made extra special thanks to the generosity and kindness of many local businesses and community sponsors who
supported our VRES staff community. 🙏✨

Gift cards, massage and beauty services, nail salon services, pet lover baskets, fitness classes, art classes, Trader Joe’s goodie bags, and many other donated gifts were thoughtfully combined into themed raffle sets, making the event even more fun and meaningful for our teachers and staff. 🥳🥳

Approximately 40 teachers and staff members received special raffle prizes, and seeing their excitement and smiles made the event incredibly rewarding for all of us. 🥹

This week was more than just a series of events — it was a beautiful reminder of how much love and appreciation our community has for our teachers and staff.

Thank you again to all of our sponsors, donors, volunteers who helped make this week so memorable. ❤️☺️

Teacher Appreciation Week – Day 4 💙💛
Coffee Truck Day! ☕✨

Last Thursday was such a special afternoon as we delivered coffee drinks all around the school to our amazing teachers and staff. ☺️

For this event, we partnered with Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck – Warrenton.
Thank you Maria!! ❤️

Teachers preordered their favorite drinks, and our volunteers carefully organized and delivered each order directly to classrooms and offices throughout the building.
Seeing everyone smile and enjoy a small treat during the busy day made this event so meaningful. 💖😊

Next to the coffee truck, we also set up cookies, snacks, and a small game table, giving many teachers and staff a chance to step outside, relax, chat together, and enjoy the afternoon. 🐤

We are also incredibly grateful to all of the volunteers who helped organize, sort, and deliver so many drinks across the school. 💕

And finally, thank you to all of the businesses and sponsors who helped support Teacher Appreciation Week and make events like this possible for our VRES staff community. 🙏✨
