Dear Honorable President, Olomosaye Olatunde Excel,
SUBJECT: A matter of Urgency to conduct a free and fair election, a called for ultimatum.
I am writing to express my deep concern as the National President of Akoko South West Students Union President about the current state of your administration and call for immediate action towards holding free and fair election as your administration has long overdue. The Stakeholders, Comrade's and the entire students populace patience has worn thin, and it is imperative that your office takes concrete steps to address this critical issue within a period of 24 hour.
In the meantime, I urge you to take the following actions:
1. Declare a date for the Congress and election within the next 2 days from today.
2. Ensure a transparent and inclusive electoral process.
3. Allow observers to monitor the elections as NACAS constitution connotes.
4. Guarantee the safety and security of all Students during the electoral process.
In opposite failure to comply with these demands will lead to:
1. Mass protests and demonstrations across the all the NACAS and social platforms.
2. Your office will be constitutionally sanctions and petitions.
3. Your administration may be tagged as imbalance and indiscipline that brings downfall to the NACAS National Body
We will hold you accountable for any further delay or manipulation of the Congress and electoral process. The people demand their right to choose their leaders in a fair and democratic manner.
Today standing on the existing protocol, and I stand to be corrected if there's mistake therein, National Congress Of Akoko (NACAS) National Body Constitution says and I quote;
SECTION 1: SUPREMACY OF THE CONSTITUTION
1. This constitution shall be supreme and it’s provisions shall have binding effect on all members of the Association.
2. Section 4.3. Life Membership shall be all members of Nacas from foundation of the Association even till after graduation of such person. Such person would only be ineligible to hold any position in NACAS.
3. SECTION 5: THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
Section 5.8
The executive members shall function for twelve (12) months after which another administration shall be ushered in after a proper election has been conducted.
Recall to the administration of Emeritus president, Comr. Dunga want to demonstrate this act in his administration but, great and conscious stakeholders, Leaders and concern minds took charge and victoriously recover the administration unto the next. Hence, I believe what is good for the goose is also good for the gander.
