The mission of mim.fm is to initiate and sustain a paradigm shift, from music as disposable non-essential commodity to music as a necessity for personal and social well-being. To that end, we have designed a humanitarian model for music distribution wherein affordable music is guaranteed for all consumers and fair compensation is guaranteed for all musicians. The model works, in part, because of a

built-in charitable component which turns all acts of consumption into acts of contribution, an approach which drives both revenue and social change.
