Sompurna Established in 2010, Somporker Noya Setu (SNS) has tirelessly supported Bangladesh's transgender, hijra, intersex, and gender-diverse communities.

Now known as "Sompurna," it continues its vital advocacy and empowerment work. Somporker Noya Setu (SNS) is a sexual minority and transgender group of Bangladesh. SNS emerged in October 2010 as a community-based organization (CBO) for the sexual minority and transgender community with a view to promote and uphold the human rights of transgender and other sexual minority people. Our inspiration is

that we are ‘human being’, so we are entitled to enjoy all of the same rights and opportunities that other persons have. The members of SNS come from sexual minority and transgender communities all across the country. SNS currently has 82 members in its General Body (GB). Somporker Noya Setu envisions a just society without discrimination and stigma against transgender and other sexual minority
