Awaken Challenge AC was initiated in 2010 by the alumni of various TIBS. It was organised by PMT from 2010-2019 and was discontinued in 2020 & 2021 due to Covid.

ICB took over the organising baton in 2022 & 2023. BYN took over the baton to organise AC from 2025. Awaken Challenge (AC) was initiated in 2010 by the alumni of various Tertiary Institution Buddhist Societies (TIBS). Held annually, the competition includes a quiz; video presentation; among others, assessing participants’ knowledge of Buddhism and contemporary society. The event is a highlight of

the local Buddhist youth scene, based on the twofold aim of strengthening knowledge of Buddhism and fostering stronger bonds among Buddhist youth. The strong participation for each year’s Awaken Challenge is testament to its continued success.

Hey Dharma seekers!

The Awaken Challenge is BACK, and this year we’ve levelled it up even more! Expect bigger laughs, deeper insights, and even more exciting ways to engage with the Dharma. 🎉

Event Details:
📅 Date: 25 July 2026 (Saturday)
🕘 Time: 9am - 5pm
📍 Location: Singapore Buddhist Lodge (17-19 Kim Yam Rd, Singapore 239329)
👥 Who: Any Buddhist youth aged between 17 to 30 years old (inclusive) is welcome to participate!

Registration will close on 1 May 2026 or when the maximum number of teams is reached.
