The meltdown of the financial markets may be the last of our problems when the systems of nature that support us continue to degrade to a point of complete failure. Most of us are very concerned about the future our children face. We need a Council to monitor corporations and enforce ecological standards are met. We also need to de-centralize power so communities make the bulk of the political dec
isions that affect them [see framework for Equitable Governance]. In fact, abundance depends upon sustainability. Peace, air, water and land issues are clearly our collective responsibility. We need to create Earth Council [an evolution of the UN] to address global issues in a cooperative and non-violent way. A planet wide cease-fire, achieving peace, is no longer just a good idea but imperative to the very survival of our children and the myriad of beings that share our planet. It is not “our” planet, but a place shared by many life forms. And these life forms work together in amazing symbiotic ways that sustain our planet. We need these life forms for our own survival. Scientists are only now realizing the importance and function of co-evolution. A Structure for Equitable Global Governance:
a triangle of Sovereignty
Governance: Most power structures use the upward-pointing pyramid [a symbol which is universally accepted as representing the masculine principle], with one person or group at the top and the rest of the people are relegated to lower and lower tiers. However, this framework uses the downward-pointing triangle [a symbol which is universally accepted as representing the feminine principle]. Power is kept decentralized allowing different groups of Sovereigns to live under their own laws. Therefore, most power is kept within communities themselves. Adhering to the Universal Law; live and let live.
