The OO section has now decommissioned Faugham Hill, our main running layout for the last fifteen years. In its place we have erected Denmark Road, a smaller continuous run layout, which can be switched between DC and DCC operation. Denmark Road offers more limited scope for running, however this is not an issue, as most of our members are now more involved with building new layouts. You can see Denmark Road at the Ellesmere model railway club show on August 8th and 9th, and at the Chester Model railway club show on October 10th and 11th.

Our current project is 'Deeford', a GWR country terminus station. Work on this is well advanced, and this layout will also be exhibited at our show on October 10th and 11th.

Our 00 gauge running layout , Faugham Hill , has now been dismantled to give us more room for other projects. Faugham Hill was built 15 years ago and gave may of our members valuable experience in building a layout.
The photographs show one of our members , Andrew Williams , running the final train , and the layout before it was decommissioned.
Faugham Hill will be replaced by our new 00 layout Denmark Road , which will be both a club and an exhibition layout.
