The latest layout from our 00 section is Deeford ,a GWR country terminus station. There are a few scenic details to be added and a small amount of electrical work.The layout is DCC controlled and offers interesting operational scope. The layout can be seen at our exhibition at Saltney Community Centre on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October 2026,.along with other layouts in various scales and a well stocked sales stall.

The OO section has now decommissioned Faugham Hill, our main running layout for the last fifteen years. In its place we have erected Denmark Road, a smaller continuous run layout, which can be switched between DC and DCC operation. Denmark Road offers more limited scope for running, however this is not an issue, as most of our members are now more involved with building new layouts. You can see Denmark Road at the Ellesmere model railway club show on August 8th and 9th, and at the Chester Model railway club show on October 10th and 11th.

Our current project is 'Deeford', a GWR country terminus station. Work on this is well advanced, and this layout will also be exhibited at our show on October 10th and 11th.
