Throughout this campaign, the yes on Measure F folks have had more money than us and have still resorted to cheating and lying. We have not, they have pulled down our signs, while claiming we were pulling down their signs. We have not pulled down their signs and anyone who has a sign in their yard that says No on F requested it. We are endorsed by many folks in the community, all of which were aware of what they were endorsing. All of this is to say, we appreciate folks in Eureka seeing through their deceitful tactics to push through a Measure that benefits the ultra rich Arkley family and no one else.

Please Vote NO on Measure F Eureka!! According to Chris Rogers: "Measure F would scrap years of thoughtful discussion and planning for Eureka’s housing and infrastructure. By eliminating the approved housing element, the developer bankrolling Measure F will be able to build whatever he wants through the 'builder’s remedy' - removing local voices and potentially costing us millions in state fines."

The "Yes on F" campaign continues to spread the lie that Measure F "will" result in housing being built (it won't), and that the Jacobs campus is closer to "shopping, services, and public transportation" than the city's planned buildings are (it isn't).

Changing the zoning of the Jacobs site DOES NOT guarantee or spur the construction of housing there, and Jacobs has worse access to public transportation and shopping than any of the city's planned sites.

Humboldt County has been in desperate need of Affordable Housing for years. Previous Eureka governments dragged their feet or in some cases completely obstructed the construction of Affordable Housing in Eureka. Now we have a city government that is trying to do their part to make sure locals can afford to live here, but these efforts may be derailed by a billionaire's misleading, astroturfed campaign and frivolous lawsuits.
As of July 31, the "Yes on F" Committee (funded by Security National) had spent over $1,000,000 on this campaign, less than $30,000 of it locally.
We are not backed by an LLC owned by a billionaire. We are your neighbors, friends, customers, family members, and coworkers. We are the the employees and small business owners who serve you and are served by you. We work, live, shop, dine, volunteer, and celebrate in downtown Eureka. We are a grassroots group fighting this misinformation campaign out of our own pockets. We can't afford a billboard, but we've given out over 400 yard signs, all by request.

We love how creative folks are, this was sent to us anonymously. Just a friendly reminder, Eureka City Schools is in negotiations with the CHP to purchase the Jacobs School lot, there's no way for Measure F to require housing be built there if the CHP acquire the lot.
