If you're in Glasgow tomorrow, Saturday 13 June , please join our comrades to stand against racism. 💜💚

Details below ⬇️

Glaswegians of all backgrounds and and of all faiths and none will stand together against any attempts to spread violence and hatred in our communities. Time and again we have shown the far right that a majority of us reject their racist poison. On Tuesday we saw horrific scenes as 500 joined a far right protest in Glasgow. We will not allow fascists to march on our streets unopposed. Join us to reclaim our streets as anti-racist, anti-fascist and a community that welcomes all.

Join us
Saturday 13 June
1pm, Buchanan Steps, Glasgow

We say no to the far right on our streets 📣

We will be taking to the streets as 2026 gets underway this weekend and we say
We're proud to be backed by some of Scotland's leading refugee rights organisations

💚 UNISON operates a 4-week rule when it comes to providing representation in workplace issues.

This means you need to have been a member for at least four weeks before an issue arises for us to be able to provide support.

Joining after something has already happened means we’re unable to step in and help.

Being a member means support is there when you need it.

Not a member? join.unison.org.uk 💚

💐 A huge shoutout to our Vice-Chair and Services & Conditions Officer, Catriona Smith, who recently received a beautiful thank you gift from our lovely members! Catriona successfully represented a team to a very positive outcome. ⭐️

As lay stewards and branch officers, it truly means a lot when members appreciate the time and effort put in and we are thrilled to see one of our very best recognised for her hard work! 💜
