Hey there, new Kiwanian! Welcome to the crew!
We’re so excited to have you join the Kiwanis Club of Mayon, where we’re all about making a difference for kids. Our Onboarding Session is your chance to jump right in, meet some awesome folks, and get the scoop on how we roll. Think of it as your warm, friendly kickoff to becoming part of our mission to "change the way the world sees children" through fun, meaningful service.
What’s the Vibe?
This isn’t your typical stuffy meeting – it’s a laid-back, interactive night where you’ll:
Get to Know Us: Hear the story of our club, named after the iconic Mayon Volcano, and how we’re making waves locally. Plus, you’ll see how we fit into Kiwanis International’s big picture of helping kids worldwide.
Learn the Basics: We’ll break down the simple stuff – membership dues, our monthly meet-ups, and how you can jump into roles or projects that spark your interest.
Connect & Have Fun: Expect a quick, lighthearted team activity to bond with other members – from local business owners to teachers with big hearts. You might even toss around ideas for your first community project!
No matter if you’re new to volunteering or a community service pro, this session is all about helping you feel at home and ready to make a difference. All you need is your excitement for kids and community – we’ll handle the rest!
