𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗳 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Every August 1, Scouts around the world celebrate World Scout Scarf Day by proudly wearing their neckerchiefs in public as a symbol of unity, service, and commitment to the Scouting Movement.

More than a part of the Scout uniform, the neckerchief represents the Scout Promise and the values embodied in the Scout Oath and Law. It serves as a reminder of every Scout's responsibility to lead with integrity, help others, and make a positive difference in their communities.

In celebration of this occasion, the Burauen Comprehensive National High School Senior Scouting Organization Outfit 180 encouraged all Scouts to wear their neckerchiefs wherever they go and proudly showcase the spirit of Scouting beyond the school grounds.

May this simple gesture continue to inspire more young people to live by the ideals of Scouting and carry its values in their everyday lives.

With heavy hearts, the Burauen Comprehensive National High School Senior Scouts Outfit 180 attended the wake of our fellow Scout from the Burauen Comprehensive National High School Senior Girl Scouts, Charmelle Daine Cabañero, to pay our final respects and stand in solidarity with her family, friends, and loved ones during this time of grief.

Charmelle will always be remembered for the joy, compassion, and warmth she so generously shared with everyone around her. Her genuine kindness and cheerful spirit brought comfort to others and left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though her time with us was far too short, the light she brought into the lives of others will continue to live on in the memories she created and the lives she touched.

As members of one Scouting family, we honor her life with gratitude and remembrance. May the values she embodied continue to inspire those she leaves behind, and may the Great Scoutmaster of all good Scouts welcome her into eternal peace.

On behalf of the Burauen Comprehensive National High School Senior Scouts Outfit 180, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the family of Charmelle Daine Cabañero, as well as to the Burauen Comprehensive National High School Senior Girl Scouts. May you find comfort, strength, and peace in the love and support of your Scouting family during this difficult time.

𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀

The Burauen Comprehensive National High School Senior Scouting Organization Outfit 180 attended the Orientation on Safety Measures conducted by military personnel at the BCNHS Social Hall, on Friday, July 10.

The orientation provided valuable discussions on safety, security, and emergency preparedness, equipping participants with essential knowledge and awareness in responding to various situations. Through this activity, the Scouts further strengthened their sense of responsibility, discipline, and preparedness in serving both the school and the community.

May the knowledge gained from this orientation continue to guide our Scouts in promoting safety, practicing vigilance, and upholding the values of preparedness in their daily lives.

With heavy hearts, the BCNHS Senior Scouting Organization Outfit 180 attended the wake of our beloved Scout Master, Sir Eduardo I. Animos. We came together to pay our final respects and honor a leader who dedicated his life to the Scouting movement.

Sir Eduardo's wisdom, guidance, and unwavering service inspired countless scouts to live by the values of service, integrity, and leadership. His legacy will continue to shape and inspire future generations.

Though he has left this world, his teachings and memories will remain forever. May he rest in eternal peace, and may his life of service continue to be a guiding light to us all.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗸

Last June 20, 2026, aspiring Venturer Scouts and Eagle Scouts of Burauen Comprehensive National High School Senior Scouting Organization Outfit 180 recently took the Board of Review for Venturer and Eagle Scout Rank at Leyte Council Scout House, Tacloban City.

Outfit 180 had ten (10) candidates for the Eagle Scout Rank and one (1) for the Venturer Rank. This marks the 8th time since its inception that Outfit 180 has had candidates for the Venturer Rank, and the 7th for the Eagle Scout Rank. Together with them are scouts from across the Boy Scouts of the Philippines - Leyte Council.

Outfit 180 congratulates its new batch of passers for the Board of Review for the Eagle Scout Rank. Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have paid off, and you have reached a truly commendable milestone. As young leaders, you have demonstrated outstanding qualities of leadership, character, and service to others.

The journey you have navigated to becoming an Eagle Scout has been filled with challenges, and you have risen above them all with determination and resilience. You have shown a commitment to excellence and have proven yourself as role models to your fellow scouts and to your community.

As you move forward in your life's journey, may you continue to carry the principles of scouting and may you continue to perform your duty- to yourself, to God, and to others.

Again, the BCNHS Senior Scouts Outfit 180 proudly exclaims congratulations to all of you on this remarkable achievement! Keep up the great work, and may your future be filled with continued success and fulfillment.

"𝑨 𝑺𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕"

The Burauen Comprehensive National High School Senior Scouts attended a mass and wholeheartedly embraced God's presence.

As the sun gracefully begins its descent on the third Sunday of June, the Scouts, like a tightly knit community, eagerly gathered to share a shared worship experience.

It was a sincere commitment to their duty, a call to connect with the Holy Father, and an opportunity to seek guidance for the journey ahead.

Together with the Girl Scouts, the massfaithfully joined Faith Day through a meaningful church gathering. This solemn activity allowed them to offer thanks and reflect on the importance of prayer in their daily lives. Through this observance, they were reminded to live with kindness, unity, and service to others—true to the ideals of Scouting.

Today, June 12th, marks a truly momentous day in Philippine history. One hundred and twenty-eight years ago, General Emilio Aguinaldo courageously declared the Philippines' independence from Spanish colonial rule, a pivotal moment that forever changed the nation's destiny.

This act symbolized the birth of a sovereign nation, fueled by immense courage and a relentless fight for freedom. As we commemorate this significant anniversary, we pay tribute to the heroes who paved the way for the liberties we cherish today.

𝟭𝟮𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆

Burauen Comprehensive National High School Senior Scouting Organization Outfit 180 joined the Local Government Unit of Burauen in commemorating the 128th Philippine Independence Day on June 12.

As scouts, our participation demonstrates how deeply the youth value our nation and the freedoms our heroes secured. This event honors the sacrifices and patriotism of our National Heroes.

We, the youth, must carry their legacy not only in ceremony but in action. By staying informed about the social issues our country faces, and by working to address them. Let us not let the efforts of those who fought for our independence go to waste.

May we continue to serve, to learn, and to strive for a better Philippines.

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆

Today marks the first flag ceremony for this school year 2026-2027, this also means that this is the first duty of the scouts for this academic year. The flag ceremony serves as a ceremonial kickoff, setting the tone for the values of discipline, respect, and unity that will guide us throughout the year. This moment signifies both a new beginning and a continuation of the dedication that our Scouts bring to their roles in our school community.

𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻

ES Christel C. Binatac, ES Ayashie Eunice M. Del Pilar, and ES Jharred Miguel L. Lagbas of Burauen Comprehensive National High School Senior Scouting Organization joined the first District Meeting of Burauen East District and Burauen South District for their District Membership Campaign, yesterday, June 5.

The scouts delivered a 30-minute talk in each district to promote the Scouting movement, encouraging youth and teachers to join.

One initiative is a foundation for lasting impact.
