Our Story

Founded in 1994.

A community garden and urban agriculture support and training program in the Dallas area of Texas. Gardeners in Community Development educates and empowers people to strengthen their community through community gardening and urban agriculture.

Our major community garden projects include:

Church of Our Saviour, 1616 N Jim Miller Rd -- location of the Center for Growing People with family plots, greenhouse, chickens, fruit orchard, pantry farm, and training facilities.
