Hello all-I know you have been enjoying our unseasonably warm and sunny weather!! The wildflowers are popping out everywhere (a little early actually) so hope you can get out there to explore and take some pics. Even the local parks are hosting wonderful plants and birds and insects. This Thursday the 16th is our April club meeting: 5:30pm to 7pm at the Corbin Public Library. We will have a sharing session so bring some digital images that you would like input on to help improve our photography skills. Also, bring any images you took for our special project from Butch-fire and water. We look forward to seeing what you came up with! Please join us-we would love to see how you look at our beautiful world through your lens!

Hello all and hope you are enjoying the nice spring weather and the earth coming alive with blooms and birds. Please join us this Thursday March 19 for our monthly meeting at the Corbin Public Library from 5:30pm to 7pm in the upstairs community room. Bill Fortney will be doing a program for us. Also, we hope you can join Bill's longer program this Saturday March 21 from 9am to 4pm at Grace on the Hill church on Falls Hwy in Corbin. Bill always does a fantastic program. Take care.

Happy Valentine's Day to you all! We are finally enjoying some nicer weather. This Thursday Feb. 19 is our monthly photo club meeting from 5:30 pm to 7 pm at the Corbin Library. The last Art Local meet up of 2025 has a new place and time!

Next Tuesday RSVP by emailing [email protected] (so we can get a headcount for supplies or respond "attending" in comments)

Join us at Folktale Coffee and Bakehouse from 5-7pm for brief introductions and a led neurographic art project with Carol Lucia

This will be a great way to wrap up the 2025 year and celebrate the season in creative company.

Hello all-hope you are enjoying the Christmas season and staying warm. Next week Thursday Dec. 18 is our holiday dinner at the Corbin Public Library from 5:30pm to 7pm in the upstairs meeting room. ALL ARE WELCOME!! We will be enjoying turkey dinner and fixings provided by our members. Come meet our wonderful members, talk photography, (we are all abilities levels from beginner to more expert) and join in a little holiday cheer. We hope you will join us for awesome food and great fellowship!

Happy November to all-I can't believe it is almost time for the holidays! This week on Thursday is our monthly photo club meeting. Last month we were happily surprised with two former members Bill Fortney and Butch Houseman joining us at our club meeting. Thanks so much guys for bringing your expertise to our discussion of images which we really enjoyed and appreciated!! Instead of doing an in-club competition this month, Butch has volunteered to do a program sharing some of his images and his experience as a photographer over the years. All are welcome to join us this Thursday Nov. 20 at the Corbin Public Library (in the upstairs meeting room-just ask at the desk when you arrive) from 5:30 pm to 7 pm. Hope to see you there and stay dry.

Hope everyone is enjoying the summertime and staying cool. Just wanted to let you know that APS will NOT be hosting a Nibroc Photo Contest this year. We may do one later in the year instead so please check on this site for future updates. Thank you to all those in the past who entered photos and supported this event during Nibroc.
