Rouble Nagi Art Foundation Rouble Nagi Art Foundation (RNAF) is a not-for-profit organization set up with the vision to make sur Currently, we have 73 Balwadi’s and Centers.

Vision: "Educate the underprivileged, help make a child cheerful, healthy and creative who is respected in the society and whose rights are protected.”

Rouble Nagi Art Foundation (RNAF) is a not-for-profit organization set up with the vision to make sure that all children get an education that helps them become caring, responsible and productive citizens. As a concrete step towards realizing this

vision, RNAF has various programmes which aim at providing quality education for underprivileged children by introducing low cost and sustainable educational models. For the last 10 years, RNAF has been working in Slums and Villages of India addressing issues like Education, Women Empowerment, Employment along with regular workshops for Sanitation and Hygiene. After working for over a decade in rural India we set off cornerstones, representing shared goals, what people actually wanted: Education, Women and Youth Empowerment, Health & Nutrition, Environment along with transformation and most importantly addressing employment through Skill and Vocational training centres. We believe in the potential of the people and focus on empowering them. Through our various Social Service Delivery Projects and Initiatives for Slums and villages which aims to improve the standard of living for the poor and vulnerable population living in the slums. We believe every community has its unique culture, traditions and beliefs. To uplift the entire community, our approach honours those things but never at the expense of personal dignity and humanity of an individual community member. We co-develop programs directly with each community after understanding the problems on the ground. Thematic Areas

Education: The goal is, in particular, to promote the individual potential of children. To show them a world of prospects – a world where children have hope and a future. Our Balwadi’s and Edu- centres are built in slums and villages in India. These Balwadis become safe spaces for children to come, learn new things, meet different people, engage with many skilled volunteers and professionals, express themselves and go home happy. This, in turn, leads to them building confidence, an increased interest in learning, studying and excelling and realising their true potential, because of continuous support and mentoring. Through our centres, we have successfully been able to promote and provide students from slums and villages with necessary resources to excel. We have benefited more than 675,000 children to date. And the number of registrations are increasing rapidly every year.

Women and Youth Empowerment: Our women empowerment programs promote skill-building, self-esteem, access to information and resources, and community action that position women as confident decision-makers and leaders in their homes and communities. We create a platform where the ideas of Self-Reliance, Entrepreneurship & Employability are all put out there, in front of the women of the communities. Slum and village communities are built on multitudes of socio-cultural contexts and the idea of a woman working and earning an income is still one that has to be negotiated at times. Our aim is to draw attention to how small businesses that are running from homes, or respectable jobs in companies and institutions can be a reality for the woman and her family. Through workshops on women and youth empowerment, we seek to open the mind of the community, who are interested in becoming a part of the Skill Training Centre. Skill and Vocational Training: Our Skill programme is called SII - Skill Initiatives in India. This vertical is aimed at increasing employment and job opportunities for youth and women. Encouraging Entrepreneurship, Employability and Self-Reliance through the provision of Skill Training. Everything that goes in with this, whether it is conversations with the community through workshops to evoke behaviour change, provision of trainers and facilitators who can adequately communicate, teach and empower the women and youth to learn something which will contribute to their livelihood – right down to setting up the physical infrastructure or Skill Centre where this learning process will occur – everything comes under this. We will build the existing capacities that women have & help them play their desired role in family and society. Employability & entrepreneurship will both get a boost through this intervention. The gateway into this intervention will be the workshops at Community centres undertaken by our team. Hygiene and Sanitation: The prime objective is of raising awareness and encouraging people to adopt good hygiene, sanitation practices and say "no to plastic" across the country. We organise massive cleanliness drives to encourage people to keep their areas clean. It is an extension of our long-standing efforts to educate the people living in slums and villages about cleanliness. Workshops are held to educate people about waste management. It is important to drive behaviour change towards adopting healthy hygiene practices with the help of insightful communication. Slum and Village Transformation: The main goal is to provide quality education for underprivileged children along with a cleaner and more hygienic surrounding, using Community Art as the primary medium and entryway into sanitation, cleanliness, skill development and education. It aims at instilling values such as gender equality, social justice, the spirit of community service, eco-friendliness in the slums and villages and their people so that they get transformed & grow into role-models for others. We are proud to support the Government’s initiative of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and even take it forward in our trademark style, of painting and aestheticizing living spaces. Art, we realized is the fulcrum point of all other efforts in our community development work, since it offers a dignified living atmosphere for people who often have much lesser than they deserve.

Celebrating “World Earth Day” through the powerful medium of Art, our children expressed what words often cannot. With colours, creativity, and conviction, the children brought to life pledges that directly reflect some of the most pressing environmental priorities of our time conserving water, increasing green cover through tree plantation, reducing pollution, and safeguarding the delicate balance between progress and nature. Nature, in its generosity, has given us everything essential for life…air to breathe, water to sustain us, and soil to grow. All of it, free of cost. Yet, its true value lies in how we choose to respect and protect it. This Earth is not just where we live, it is a gift entrusted to us. One that we must nurture with care, safeguard with intention, and pass on, healthier and stronger, to the generations that follow, because the future of our planet is not built tomorrow, it is shaped by the choices we make today.
Thank you .satam Sir for snack boxes & colours.
