Stand Down of North Jersey Stand Down of North Jersey is a 501C3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to serve the community of homeless and needy vets and their families.

For more than fourteen years we have produced an event called the Stand Down. It is a one day event to assist our homeless and needy veterans and their families. The Stand Down will be held on Saturday, October 11th from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the John F Kennedy Recreation Center, 211 West Kinney Street, Newark NJ. At this event veterans and their families will be assisted by a wide variety of fede

ral, state and local agencies. These agencies address the veterans’ physical, educational, employment and personal needs by providing access service providers.
