Come out and meet our Superstars this Sunday in Sacramento off Freeport Blvd. From noon - 3pm!

Reminder: We do not adopt on the spot. We require a multi-step screening process to ensure we pair our dogs with the right family, as well as the right dog for each of our applicants 💕

However, this is an opportunity to meet our dogs in person being that we are 100% Volunteer owned & operated. We do not have a facility, therefore our dogs are in foster family homes. We know most everything about them this way too! With that said, Adoption Events are an opportunity for the public to come and meet us & our dogs in person 🐾
It is also an opportunity to show your support🐾

🚨 Temp-Foster Needed April 8th-20th! 🚨

Are you looking to dip your toes into the amazing pool of fostering? Well look no further then this sweet girl coconut who needs a temporary foster from April 8th-20th while her foster is out of town.

Coconut is a certified couch potato whose favorite activities include sunbathing and naps on the couch.

⚠️Bane is at the vet again. He was in the ER last wk. Lost 6lbs since. Can't keep anything down⚠️

It's not related to his Addisons Disease.
They suspect Mega Esophagus on top of Addisons Disease now...

We have to add imaging of his throat to his appt today. He is there NOW 😭🙏🏽 (estimate in stories as it is updated with each new test)

✨️We have a new foster opportunity!✨️

Three of our pups currently at the ranch, Puddin pop, Bowser and Merry could GREATLY benefit from a foster!

Unfortunately, we have been having trouble finding foster, so we have opened up a new opportunity, a 2 week temporary foster!

Have you been looking to dip your toes into the world of fostering? This is a great chance to give our dogs some individual attention!

⚠️HAPPY-TAIL ALERT⚠️

Momma Merry needs our help!

Our girl is just too darn happy😋

Merry came to us off the streets of San Jose, emaciated AND pregnant!
Our friends Primal Canine Inc client found her and contacted us for help.
Obviously we jumped into gear!

Merry survived the streets alone and managed to make it the entire term of her pregnancy. Once she was safe with us, she birthed a massive litter; all of whom survived. She is just incredible🥹

All of her pups were adopted out, but sadly nobody came for momma Merry...

Fast forward 2 years and she's still waiting❤️‍🩹

Merry doesn't ask for much, just some fetch here & there. She is just so sweet and she deserves to be someone's first pick too! She is a dog trainers dream dog: so smart & driven.
Until that day, she is safe with us and she is always happy. So happy, that she needs a vet now😂

She busted her tail open and for the past two weeks we have tried every trick up our sleeve. Unfortunately none of them have worked. She wags so fast and so hard that she smacks it against her own sides, causing it to reopen. At this point, we are concerned about infection or possibly worse...

She doesn't ask for much while she waits to be picked: just some fetch 🥺
Please help us contine to care for Adoptabe Merry until her family comes for her🙏🏽

This may not look like much to strangers....BUT this is HUGE progress with Rudy😭❤️

Rudy came to us from South LA. He was completely shutdown. Completely.

We believe Rudy was feral or perhaps a shop dog who was fed and nothing else. He is terrified of humans. It took nearly 6 weeks to even hand feed, even longer to touch him. He still won't come to you easily.

Getting him to come inside was something we never thought was possible. We accepted it. We didnt want to push.... so we build him a 10x10 custom kennel condo, but we didn't give up....

It took over a year but we got him indoors😭🙏🏽
I spent hundreds of hours luring him indoors, baby steps, patience and lots of love.

Look at him today😭
He comes in on his own and i never thought I'd see the day!!

Who else thought Rudy would never come inside on his own free will??

Cookie GOES home!!!! After THREE YEARS in foster care!!! She finally has a family and home all her own!!!
We love you beautiful girl! Nobody deserves it more than you....

Dogs are not healthy. They are dying and suffering.
About time CA. Now how will we implement it? Charge breeders? Special task force?
Laws don't mean sh*t it we don't punish the breeders💯

What do y'all think? CA gonna even impose these new laws?
