Winnipeg Women's Resource Centre in Bor Our goal is to establish women resource centers in Bor and Jonglei for women empowerment through literacy classes, Skills training and peace building.

The Winnipeg Women Resource Centre in Bor is a non profit and non-governmental organization by the Jonglei Women Development group (JWDG) with their allies and friends in Canada. Our goal is to establish a women resource centres in Bor, Jonglei among other towns in South Sudan to help empowerment women through literacy programs, Skill training and peace building. The programs have already start o

perating since last September with the introduction of tailoring class, literacy class, child care education and elders circle of counselling. As the Centre's own building is not build yet, the programs are currently operating at St. Andrew's Cathedral in Bor. We are partnering with St. Mathew Anglican Parish, Emanuel Mission in Winnipeg Manitoba and the the Canadian Anglican Church's Primate World Relief and Development Fund to channel and transfer fund from Canada to South Sudan.
