Here's a bit about our event...
We have two tracks - Track A & Track B both approximately 30miles in length - in which each day they are specified either vehicles/family and the other Motorcycles/ATV's. Every paid hand ($35) has the opportunity to ride two laps, a new hand for each lap, in which they draw their first card when they take off at the start, one more at each of three check points on
the track, with the final of five being drawn at the registration/check-in area. After the first lap/hand is completed a second tank card is given and the rider may run another lap. Some choose to not go back out and they draw right there at the table. We give out 10 "Top Hand" prizes each day. We have a drivers informational meeting at 7:45am each morning and all hands must be back in and drawn by 1:30pm each day to be eligible for prizes. At 2:00pm we begin announcing the winning hands, 1-10, and each person is allowed to choose from the available prizes. After those are called we then begin drawing tickets for our Opportunity (raffle) Drawing. Tickets are sold from 8:00am until 2:00pm and they are available for -
1 - $1 * 7 - $5 * 15 - $10 * 40 - $20
Prizes include a variety of cool stuff including alcohol and beer. Donations of both monetary and prizes are welcomed and will definitely be recognized!!!!! All proceeds benefit such great efforts like B.E.S.T. Opportunities (helping ages 16 & up with special needs), toys for children during the holidays, food for the less fortunate, etc. This is our 31st season and want to continue the tradition...
