Drop Everything and Read!

On November 14, 2023, Senior High School students dedicated 15 minutes solely to reading their favorite books.

Our Reading Coordinator, Mrs. Emmalyn L. Achacoso, along with two selected Peer Tutors, roamed the Grade 11 and 12 sections to evaluate and determine the top three sections that truly devoted their time to reading, creating a perfect environment and ambiance.

Now, we proudly present the winners of the Drop Everything And Read Activity:

Under the theme "PAGBASA: Pag-asa sa Matatag na Kinabukasan," the 18 contestants showcased remarkable talent, delivering breathtaking and profound artworks. Three of our esteemed senior high teachers rigorously evaluated and critiqued the submissions, resulting in the selection of the top three winning posters.

Head's up, Bookworms!

In support to the commitment of the Department of Education (DepEd) to strengthen literacy programs for our learners, the SHS students spearheaded by the Peer Tutors aim to join in the nationwide celebration of the National Reading Month to promote the love and appreciation for reading and enhance their full awareness of the crucial role of reading in cultivating 21st century skills.

With the theme “PAGBASA: Pag-asa sa MATATAG na Kinabukasan, school level activities shall be held from November 13-28, 2023 in the campus featuring Mystery Reading Ambassador during the flag raising ceremony and brief talk of the value of reading.
