From the World Wars in Europe to the jungles of the Far East, from the deserts of the Middle East to the African continent, and even here in our own hemisphere, our veterans have made the world a better place and America the great country we are today.
So On this Veterans Day, let us remember the service of our veterans, and let us renew our national promise to fulfill our sacred obligations to our veterans and their families, who have sacrificed so much so that we can live free.
It takes a special kind of person to step up and defend our country and constitution, to wake up before the sun shines everyday and train as hard as they can through the blood sweat and tears. It takes a true Warrior to stand ready to sacrifice everything they love, family, friends, and their own life; for the preservation of the American way of life.
We don't do it for notoriety, we offer our selfless service because we love this great nation and the freedoms bestowed upon us in our constitution. We do it because we want to keep the people of the United States safe from the "wolves" at the door who want to bring harm upon us, and We will gladly give our lives to do so.
I ask that you not only today but everyday remember the soldiers who go forth to the dark corners of the world to ensure your safety while you live your day to day lives and rest in your cozy warm beds; there are men and women fighting and dying to keep it that way.
I Thank all of you Veterans who are currently serving, discharged, retired, or reserved. You are the Sheep dogs who keep the wolves at bay.
"The soldier above all others prays for peace, for it is the soldier who must suffer and bear the deepest wounds and scars of war."- Douglas MacArthur
YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN!
