On Saturday, June 9, 2018, join the March for the Ocean in Washington D.C. or join one of many simultaneous marches, flotillas, and water celebrations across the country! June 9th, the day after World Oceans Day, we will school together by the tens of thousands to protect our Global Ocean and connecting waters, engage our neighbors and fellow citizens, and expand the diverse and youthful upsurge o

f activism that can restore the waters that give us life. Every community has the power to protect their local waterways, lakes and rivers that lead to the Ocean. On June 9, we’ll march and wear Blue for the Ocean to put an end to the petrochemical, plastic and other polluted runoff that is poisoning our drinking water and putting our health and coastal economies at risk; we’ll march to end offshore oil drilling and spilling that devastates our communities both human and wild; we’ll march to fight for neighborhoods across the nation being endangered by rising seas, intensified hurricanes, historic flooding and other preventable calamities. We’ll march for our and future generations in the knowledge it’s not too late to build a healthy Blue Planet based on equity and on justice for all. Join the hundreds of organizations, and notable advocates who will March for The Ocean June 9! (M4O) Find out and contribute to the developing events and festivities.
