Introducing Flight Reports, now on TheDroneMap.com - Our most requested feature!

Why Create a Flight Report?
Whether you’re flying for fun or planning a job, Flight Reports offer a free and simple way to let others know what’s happening and improve situational awareness across the airspace.

How to Create a Flight Report:
Step 1: Create Free Account: To create Flight Reports, users first need to create a free account. Simply visit TheDronemap.com, accept the T&Cs, and click the Create Account button located at the bottom of the map.

Step 2: To Open the Flight Report location popup - Select the “Place location marker” icon in the top-left corner & click the map. Once the popup appears, click “Add Flight Report +”. Users can define the flight area using a circle or custom shape, before entering: Flight details & creating the Flight Report.

Managing & Viewing Reports:
Signed-in users can manage reports by navigating to Profile / Account > Dashboard > Manage Reports. From there, reports can be viewed, edited, updated, or deleted.

To view other users’ Flight Reports, simply enable the Flight Reports layer from the map layers drop down menu.

New TDA NOTAMS which specifically allow drones shown in yellow with highlight

CAA has pushed out new NOTAMs which contain the text 'OPEN AND SPECIFIC CAT VLOS UAS OPS ARE PERMITTED WI THE TDA WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL OR DECONFLICTION.' TheDroneMap.com now shows these as yellow, with that text highlighted to make this obvious.
