Launched in 2017, liveArgyll is a charity responsible for delivering leisure and library services across Argyll and Bute.

We’re not just about gyms, swimming pools, libraries and everything that comes with that - we also run concert venues, halls and community centres; Active Schools and Sports Hub programmes and community learning services across the area. You can book pitches for sports activities and full facilities or rooms for weddings, parties and business meetings.

Our Story

LiveArgyll was established by Argyll and Bute Council and is a company which is limited by guarantee, governed by its articles of association. This charitable company (charity number SC047545) is fully incorporated and commenced trading on 2nd October 2017. There are a wide range of services being delivered within the Trust for the benefit of local residents and visitors including, Libraries, Leisure Facilities, Active Schools, Archives, Halls, Sport Development, Museum, Community Centres and Community Lets.
