FINTECH Africa is a technical services facility (TSF) that focuses on providing targeted interventions to help improve the management and institutional capacity of microfinance institutions in sub-Saharan Africa. All of the company’s activities are guided by its charitable purpose: to contribute to poverty alleviation in Africa by enabling MFIs to scale-up outreach to their clients, specifically t

he underserved living on less than two dollars per day. FINTECH’s technical assistance projects to-date have consisted of such diverse efforts as funding MIS and IT platforms for the MFIs, building management capacity in the organizations by seconding experienced staff members, and providing training to the MFIs in areas such as governance or risk management.
