EASTON WOMEN OF TODAY, INC. Who are we? Easton Women of Today, Inc. (“EWOT”) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. II

EWOT is one of six local chapters in Massachusetts Women of Today and one of over 200 chapters in United States Women of Today. EWOT focuses on supporting those in need, community service, assisting educational efforts, enhancing talent and skills, and building friendships. Our members come from many different backgrounds and have a variety of talents. Membership is open to any person 18 years of age or older. Mission Statement

Easton Women of Today meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month (September through June) at 7:15 PM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 143 Lincoln Street, North Easton, MA 02356. If attending for the first time, please contact us in advance in case a meeting has changed. We welcome the chance to introduce you to the many volunteer opportunities within Easton Women of Today. Please join us at an upcoming event to see everything Easton Women of Today has to offer to you and our community! Membership in Easton Women of Today offers the opportunity to develop close friendships with women who share similar interests and goals. Socials and other fun filled events are held to encourage members to get to know each other, including:

• W**e Tasting
• Ice Cream Social
• Holiday Social

Community projects and fundraising events have included:
• Style Swap
• Duck Pond at NRT’s Harvest Fair
• Troop packages
• Savers FUNDrive
• Comedy Night
• Bedazzled
• Keep Easton Beautiful
• Food Drive for the Easton Food Pantry

Our recent contributions have been made to the following:

• Oliver Ames Safe Grad Night
• H.U.G.S. II
• Woman’s Place Crisis Center
• Main Spring House
• Children’s Museum of Easton
• Habitat for Humanity
• Taunton Area Community Table
• Yardley-Wood Rink

As part of a state and national organization, we also support state and national charities including:

• Women of Today Buckets of Sunshine
• Domestic Violence Awareness

Individual Development

EWOT offers opportunities for leadership training by encouraging members to accept positions as a local officer or project chairperson. Our chapter also has access to programs developed by United States Women of Today in the areas of effective writing, speaking, communication, and personal enrichment. In addition, we have occasional speakers at meetings. Past speakers have included:

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and supporting domestic violence prevention and awareness efforts is an important part of the Women of Today mission — from our local Easton chapter to the United States Women of Today.

So come say hello, pluck a duck (or a few! 😉), and help us turn a little bit of fun into something meaningful for our community.

💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and this project is especially meaningful to us. Domestic Violence Awareness is an ongoing program of the United States Women of Today, dedicated to awareness, prevention and support for a violence-free future. So no one fights alone!

Proceeds from our Duck Pond will support local Domestic Violence Prevention & Awareness Programs, allowing a little $1 duck to be part of something much bigger. 💜

So bring the family, enjoy the fair, and waddle on over to see us! 🐥🫧 it sure will be a ducky and bubbly good time!

💜 PURPLE POWER — RAFFLE FOR A PURPOSE! 💜

The United States Women of Today is raising funds to support Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention, and you have the chance to support an incredibly important cause AND possibly take home a beautiful handmade quilt!

Two gorgeous quilts have been generously donated for our raffle:

💜 Purple Patchwork Quilt — Featuring shades of purple, the color recognized around the world as a symbol of domestic violence awareness.

💙 Lighthouse Quilt — Because we know purple isn’t everyone’s color! This beautiful blue nautical-themed quilt features lighthouses, sailboats and stars and is absolutely stunning.

These aren’t your average store-bought blankets. They are handmade, one-of-a-kind heirloom pieces, created with time, talent and love.

✨🍦 Happy Friendship Day from Easton Women of Today! 🍦✨

What better way to celebrate friendship than with wonderful friends, delicious ice cream, lots of laughter, and memories we’ll cherish for years to come?

This past Sunday, our Easton Women of Today chapter gathered at Crescent Ridge to celebrate Friendship Day the sweetest way we know how! From sharing laughs and stories to snapping fun photos together, it was the perfect reminder that friendships are one of life’s greatest gifts. 💜

The friendships we’ve built through Women of Today go far beyond meetings and events—they’re filled with support, encouragement, kindness, and countless unforgettable moments.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate! Here’s to making more memories together and welcoming new friendships along the way. 🩷

🎶🫧 The Bubble Brigade has been having a blast at the Easton Summer Concert Series! 🫧🎶

The last two Wednesdays have been filled with great music, bubbles, sweet treats, laughter, and even a few surprise appearances from some of our supportive husbands! 😊

There’s something so special about seeing neighbors, friends, and families come together to enjoy a beautiful summer evening. Watching the kids chase bubbles while everyone enjoys the music makes these nights even more memorable.

Thank you to Easton Shovel Town Cultural District, Oakes Ames Memorial Hall for hosting and everyone who has stopped by, joined in the fun, or simply shared a smile with us. We love being a part of this wonderful community!
