Please join us in welcoming our newest Board of Directors members, Kate Alavez and Anthony Sacchetti! We are honored to have them join our leadership team 🎉🎶

Anthony is a highly accomplished Executive Director for a multi-billion dollar research enterprise. His portfolio includes a team that handles payroll, accounts payable, corporate credit card programs and tax compliance. He is also the principal of ADS Payroll Consulting LLC, and consults with various higher education institutions in payroll, human resources, and has a specialty in Foreign National Taxation. His career has spanned healthcare, higher education, hospitality, and research. A native New Yorker, Anthony grew up in Long Island and holds a bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University and a Master of Business Administration from Molloy University. He is also a Member-at-Large of the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of Nassau County. He resides on Long Island with his husband and six year old daughter.

Kate Alavez is President of PromoShop, Inc., where she leads organizational change and transformation with a focus on people, technology, and sustainable practices - building cultures where teams can do their best work. A two-time Counselor Power 50 honoree and 2024 PromoStandards Distributor Person of the Year, Kate serves on the PPAI Board of Directors and holds an MBA from CSU Monterey Bay. Outside of work, she serves as a Service Unit Manager for Girl Scouts of Los Angeles, supporting 195+ girls and 40+ leaders, runs an industry book club focused on closing the access gap, and through Our Big Kitchen LA has helped provide thousands of meals to those experiencing food insecurity in 2026.

The Berkshire Piano Academy was founded to create a focused and sustaining environment for serious pianists — a place where concentrated study, artistic dialogue, and performance converge over the course of a single, immersive week.

Each summer, advanced and professional pianists from around the world gather in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts for intensive work with a distinguished faculty of master teachers and performers. Participants are selected through application and join a deliberately small cohort, ensuring depth of engagement and meaningful individual attention.

Situated in one of the country’s most vibrant summer music communities, BPA places daily study in conversation with the broader artistic life of the season. The result is a program that is rigorous, intimate, and grounded in a shared commitment to the piano’s great tradition.

Founded in 2024 by Martin Labazevitch, Golda Vainberg-Tatz, and Inger Forland, the Berkshire Piano Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to excellence in piano study and performance.

We are Celebrating 25 year Anniversary TODAY, June 5!

This has been a very meaningful journey for me, both professionally and personally.
I had started the company with no former knowledge of marketing, business administration, and even less, feeling prepared for the tasks at hand.
INCREDIBLY, with very hard work over the years, and with the help of my husband, our staff, and the Board of Directors, we have made it to a 7-figure organization.
Anselmo Academy is a nonprofit organization serving hundreds of students at local schools in NY and NJ through group classes in general music, piano classes, violin, guitar, musical theater, recorder, choir and more.
Sending heartfelt thanks to our Administration, staff, teachers, Board of Directors and Honorary Board for their ongoing support.

Our Youth Choir at De La Salle Academy has been hard at work this year with the amazing Ms. Christie! ✨
