Agora was launched in February 2014 by a couple of Cambridge students who wanted to build a no-nonsense, free, student-run website to list nearly everything going on around the university. The website hosts events from over 400 different societies, MCRs, JCRs, university faculties, theatres, and local venues. As of June 2014, around 50% of Cambridge students were members.
