Barney Bear
Barney arrived in the UK in 2017 at approx 8 months of age. His date of birth is estimated at 20 February 2017 and he turned up at our shelter dumped with another puppy although not a sibling.
Barney came over and was sent to foster. In foster it became apparent he could be a bit of a guarder of resources, not surprising if he had been thrown out of his home and had to look after himself for a while.
In our shelter kennels he was a lovely big brother to new puppies that arrived and of course in a shelter situation there was no need to guard for attention, so this went unnoticed.
He had two chances of adoption in UK, however as he is a very large dog and obviously had some issues that needed working on, he was returned to us within days each time.
